Description

The MULTIMOV surge diverters are designed for 1 phase electrical systems with a nominal voltage of 230 VAC. They can handle a maximum continuous voltage of 275 VAC. These surge diverters have a maximum discharge current of 150 kA (L-N, N-PE) with an 8/20ms waveform and an impulse current of 19 kA (L-N) and 30 kA (N-PE) at a 10/350ms waveform. The nominal discharge current is 60kA (L-N) and 100kA (N-PE) at an 8/20 ms waveform. The voltage protection level is below 1600V (L-N) and below 1800V (N-PE) when operating at the nominal discharge current. These surge diverters are suitable for main switchboards with TN-S and TT network types. They provide all mode protection and feature a shunt connection, percentage active display, and failsafe alarm contact for remote monitoring. They are specifically designed to protect main switchboards from surges.
