Description

The MULTIMOV surge diverters are designed for 1 phase 1P+N PE systems with a nominal voltage of 230 VAC. They can handle a maximum continuous voltage of 275 VAC and have a maximum discharge current of 150 kA (L-N) in an 8/20ms time frame. The impulse current is rated at 19 kA (L-N) for a duration of 10/350ms. The nominal discharge current is 60kA (L-N) in an 8/20 ms time frame. The voltage protection level is below 1600V (L-N) when operating at the nominal discharge current. These surge diverters are suitable for use with main switchboards of TN-C-S (MEN) network type. The surge diverters come in a metal enclosure and provide all mode protection. They feature a shunt connection and have a percentage active display for monitoring purposes. Additionally, they have a failsafe alarm contact that allows for remote monitoring. These surge diverters are specifically designed to provide surge protection for Main Switchboards (MSB).
