Description

The MULTIMOV surge diverters are designed for 1 phase 1P+N+PE systems with a nominal voltage of 230 VAC. They can handle a maximum continuous voltage of 275 VAC. These surge diverters have a maximum discharge current of 100 kA (L-N) and 60 kA (N-PE) for an 8/20ms surge, and an impulse current of 12.5 kA (L-N) and 15 kA (N-PE) for a 10/350ms surge. The nominal discharge current is 40 kA (L-N) and 50 kA (N-PE) at an 8/20ms surge. The voltage protection level is below 1500V (L-N) and below 1300V (N-PE) at the nominal discharge current. These surge diverters are suitable for main switchboards with TN-S and TT network types. They provide all mode protection and feature a shunt connection, percentage active display, and failsafe alarm contact for remote monitoring. They are specifically designed to protect main switchboards from surges.
