      The 2-pole 1500V DC concept assists manufacturers in increasing the efficiency of their systems.

      Power losses have been reduced by up to 63% when compared to existing 1500Vdc solutions. With a single switch, CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 0.32 tons over 15 years.

      • The patented DMB - Dual Magnetic Breaking and long opening angle of the unique pole design allow it to easily break high DC voltages.
      • The unique OTDC ESS-types have rated conditional short-circuit currents of up to 100kA for 1500Vdc. Higher SC- ratings are required in the ESS for DC side protection, particularly if multiple battery rack units are connected in parallel in the system.
      • The OTDC range's DC-PV2 and DC-22B ratings provide a robust and high-performing switch with exceptional mechanical endurance up to 10 000 operating cycles.
