Can I update my personal or company details after creating an account?

Yes. Please contact IPD Customer Service to update your personal or company details.

Can I view pricing and download drawings for my configured board?

Yes. Based on your user type, you can view pricing on the screen, download drawings immediately at no additional cost, and receive detailed quotes.

Are the designs from ipd Build in line with AS/NZS 61439?

Yes, all designs generated by ipd Build are in line with AS/NZS 61439

How long is the lead time for delivery of boards generated by IPD build?

The first 5 boards of each order will be delivered within 6 business days. For additional boards, please contact IPD Customer Service for a delivery schedule.

What types of enclosures are available in ipd Build?

ipd Build offers IP43/IP65 mild steel enclosures in light grey and orange, as well as IP66 stainless steel enclosures.

Do I need to approve drawings after order placement?

No, all designs are assumed as approved when the order is placed and they go for manufacturing straight away.

What main switch options are available in ipd Build?

You can configure your board with either an isolator or MCCB, with ratings of 160A or 250A.

Can I add metering options to my configured board?

Yes. You can add single channel or dual channel metering options, as well as NMI-approved meters.

Can I add surge protection, emergency lighting test kits and external lighting control kits?

Yes. ipd Build allows you to add these optional extras to your configured board.

When adding an emergency lighting test kit, do I need to add an MCB separately?

No. ipd Build will automatically add the required MCB when you select an emergency lighting test kit.

When can I view the quotation for my board?

You can view your quotation once you have populated at least 10% of the available chassis poles in each board.

Can I add 1P and 3P RCBO and MCB to the board?

Yes, 6kA and 10kA options for 1P and 3P RCBO and MCBs can be added.

Can I add 3P outgoing breakers anywhere on the chassis?

No, to keep phase rotation of all outgoing 3P breakers the same, ipd Build only allows the top pole of a 3P breakers to be placed on a red phase only. Also, the next two poles underneath should be free as well to be able to physically fit the breaker.
