Type T fuse links provide ASTA-certified Type 2 coordination with motor starters in accordance with IEC 60947-4-1 when paired with suitable contactors and overload relays. The gM classifications allow economical motor circuit protection by enabling larger starting current characteristics without increasing fuse holder size.

Available with separate trip-indicator microswitches (MC 6.3 GR 2-5N, MC 36 GR 2-5) for remote blown-fuse signalling — useful in VSD and UPS panels where fuse-blown alarms feed back to a PLC or SCADA system. Selection between aR and gR classes matters: gR class clears all overloads from low multiples to short-circuit currents, enabling protection of cables without additional components and selective coordination with upstream gG fuses. aR class only handles short-circuit currents and requires backup overload protection.
