Framework

  • The system is fully Modular around a 200 mm Modular grid
  • The framework is made up of plinths, corners, corner bars and cross bars from 200 mm to 2400 mm
  • All bolted together with captive screws to ensure rigidity and good earthing

  • A variety of bus holder options to provide flexibility in design

Internal Arcing Fault Containment

The Techno system has been tested for internal arcing fault containment to both the relevant AS / NZS and IEC standards. The overpressure is safely dissipated by using specially designed filters and vented out via chimneys installed at the top of the switchboard while still maintaining the IP rating. The advantages of the Techno design are:

  • This advanced design provides enhanced plant and operator safety by diverting any gases to the top away from the operator
  • The space in the electrical room is optimised by not having to provide isolation areas around the switchboard
  • All products used in the design are standard stock lines which does not affect design changes or lead times
