Description

The RJ45 network protector is designed to protect twisted pair Ethernet systems. It has 16 RJ45 ports with 4 pairs and a shield. The maximum continuous voltage it can handle is 6 VDC and 4 VAC. It has a maximum common mode discharge current of 5kA at 8/20 ms (common mode 10kA) and a maximum discharge current of 1kA at 10/350 us (common mode 2kA). The maximum load current it can handle is 1A. It provides voltage protection levels of &lt;20V (L-L) and &lt;350V (L-PE) at a series connection rate of 1 kV/ms. This network protector is rack mountable and has an IP20 rating.
